You're very welcome, I'm glad I could help!

They really do not feel like an interruption at all, so yeah, I think you're good there.

go re-record all of House's lines because Hugh Laurie pitches his vowels farther forward in his mouth than I did on this go-through

Ahahahahaha yes, but I think you got the rhythm well enough. His voice is--well, it's kind of awesome. And that thing he does with his "ch"s...I would be terrified to even begin to attempt to mimic his vocal patterns!

As an aside, it was really interesting to me to go back and watch the pilot after DEVOURING all 5 seasons. The evolution of Hugh Laurie's American English accent is amazing, comparatively. In the pilot, his native speech patterns and accent bleed through occasionally (which I didn't notice on the first viewing), and I kind of want to listen to the whole thing again with my eyes closed just to see where I can pick it all out. He still has his moments in later seasons, but the pilot...whoa! Understandable of course, but I found it fascinating to listen to.

Anyway, I'm glad I could help with the beta! I'm all in that OMG YAY glow of new fannish delights with House, so it was a pleasure, and if it works out again, I'll be glad to offer my services.
