Hoisting my stuff onto Ao3 -- any tips?

Hello! Incredibly long time, no see. I am alive and well despite my invisibility on the internet, and check my reading page semi-regularly to see how you all are doing.

As I join the 21st century, learn how the hell tumblr works, etc. etc., it's occurred to me that I should probably get off my ass and upload my fic to Ao3 to make them easier to track down. This is likely to happen gradually, so let me know if there's anything you'd really like to see go up sooner rather than later. (Also, if anyone knows any neat tricks to make the transferring process go smoothly ...)

Hope you're all doing well. It's Friday, it's sunny, I'm about to get some hair whacked off, I have remarkably few complaints.

You know you can use their importer, yes? From your website (the one I host) that should run fairly smoothly, but you'll pretty much always have to fill in / fiddle with the meta-data... Hit me up if you need help I don't have any super specific knowledge for this but I can muddle through if necessary! <3

I'm glad you're doing this! Regardless of our website situation, of course - but as it happens I've also meaning to contact all my hostees to ask if they still are interested in their website and want to keep them up / update them or not. Think on it and tell me later some time ?

Yeah, right after I posted this, I encountered the importer. Cue mild chagrin. :) It worked great.

Regarding the website, I'm glad you asked -- this is the start of me trying to consolidate my fic into one location, which will be Ao3 for me. I really appreciated your help getting the website up and running back in the day, and I think now it makes sense to retire it. Is there anything you need me to do in order to take it down?

Also, just wanted to say, I think one of your podfics keeps me company on my commute at least once a month. They're a gift that keeps giving.
