I just had to take a moment and share this revelation, which says a lot about how my brain interacts with music these days:

Having just properly heard the song for the first time, I now believe that, for me, Lucinda Williams' "Learning How to Live" (lyrics here, streamable here) will forever be the anthem of synecdochic's freedom's just another word for nothing left to lose.
